Netgear DG834G and Address Reservation with DHCP is easy to setup. When you run any network services on your server, such as a DNS Server you will want to make sure that the server always gets the same IP address.

First make sure that all the computers you want to use Address Reservation with are plugged in or connected via wireless to the router.

1. Log into router x.x.x.26.

2. Click LAN IP Setup
Under Address Reservation click Add

In the next screen you will see a list of connected computers to the router. To see what your Mac Address is go to System Preferences >> Network >> Built-in Ethernet >> Ethernet.

3. Select the computer you want from the list, give the device a name and click Add.

Repeat the above until all computers are in list.

Now when ever you restart your computers they will always get the same IP address.
